A few weeks ago, our team along with passionate volunteers planted 4,000+ native trees, shrubs and grasses on our Yering Station estate site in partnership with TreeProject and the Yarra Ranges Council’s Ribbons of Green program. ⁠
Visible from the Melba Highway, you'll see these seedlings transform into a rich, thriving corridor over time.⁠
⁠
Why does it matter? Because healthy vineyards and healthy ecosystems go hand in hand. Planting a rich mix of native species, from River Bottlebrush to Golden Wattle, helps restore habitats, stabilise soil, improve water retention and so much more. This rich biodiversity creates a more balanced and resilient environment for our vines to thrive today, tomorrow, for years to come.⁠
