2025 Single Vineyard Laura Barnes Pinot Noir
$75.00
$450.00
Laura Barnes was the first Yarra Valley vineyard bought by the proprietors of Yering Station, the Rathbone family, named after their adored grandmother. The 2024 Laura Barnes is expressive of this significant site, displaying savoury foraged mushroom notes, with beautifully ripe cherry lifting the back of the palate.

All clone MV6 from a vineyard in Yarra Glen planted in '95. Fully destemmed and matured in seasoned 500L French puncheons. A vibrant crimson. A floral and expressive bouquet of red fruits, pomegranate and peony. The palate is still quite tightly wound, and I like how this is driven as much by the wine's bright acidity as its silky, persistent tannins. An elegant and persistent wine that I can see opening up beautifully over the next four to six years, if not longer.
