Barrel fermented and matured in 500L French puncheons (20% new) for 10 months. No mlf. A touch more concentrated than the 2021, this has scents of white nectarines, yellow apples and candied ginger. Vibrant and fresh on the palate, this youthful wine finishes saline and with good persistence.

The classy 2022 Chardonnay is a significant step up from the Village release from the same vintage, with a little bit more of everything. It delivers a fine mix of preserved lemon, melon and crushed nut aromas, detailed and focused. The palate is punchy, with a good volume of fruit punctuated by firm acidity and a touch of grip. It finishes strong, although it feels like it will be at its best with a couple more years in bottle.

A cool, late vintage of abstemious yields, 2022 was responsible for a slew of stunning whites in these parts. A nose of truffled lees, segueing to white florals and orange blossom. Largely Mendoza clone from the Valley floor, compressed by a smidge of well positioned new oak (20%). This is a classy estate bottling, boasting density and concentration, belied by exceptional energy. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
