Tasting Notes
Royal Baccara rose. |

Savoury and complex. Full of truflly, mushroom, rich soil, some crushed herbs , with a lighter potpourri perfume. A core of tart red cherry keeps it centred and fresh. |
|
Palate is fine boned and full of rich, dark fruits and fragrant spice. Reminds me of Peking duck pancakes – the richness of the duck; the sweet, tart and spice of the hoisin sauce; and an earthy, herbal thread from the pancake and spring onion. A beautiful, elegant wine of excellent length, showing peak complexity. |

The colour shows expected development, the bouquet and palate likewise. It is a very complex pinot, with dark spices, cedar and forest notes intertwined with its cherry and plum fruit. A nice dab of tannin completes an impressive wine.
