Ideal spring conditions led to excellent fruit set and beautifully balanced canopies. A warm summer, tempered by cool nights, nurtured healthy crops rich in flavour, vibrant in colour, and with beautifully ripe tannins. Harvest was swift and intense, with perfectly ripened Chardonnay and Pinot Noir picked throughout February, followed by Shiraz, Cabernet, and other varieties in March. |

OK. This had me at hello. A big Yes Please to this. This is a bodied, textured white wine that satisfies at every turn. It tastes of peach, butter, cream, pears, brine and tonic water, and while that sounds hefty it’s certainly powerful but it’s not overdone. Indeed it’s balanced. And beautiful. And more-ish in a full-bodied kind of way. This would stand up to, and enhance, all manner of foods.

A blend of 50/25/15% viognier/roussanne/marsanne. The first Rhone white blend under the Yering Station label since '08. A bright yellow gold with green tinges. An appealing amalgam of apricot, honeysuckle and spicy ginger notes. Unfolds nicely on the gently textured, fresh and medium-bodied palate, balanced by zesty acidity. A well-crafted wine to drink now and over the next two to three years.

Mid-straw and bright in the glass. Aromas of wheat puff, honeysuckle, white lily, melon rind and sweet spice. Textured, mealy, stone fruit and melon flavours are at the core. Smart texture, weight and shape.
