The proud definition of our house style. These wines are produced from vineyards that are carefully managed by Yering Station’s team to ensure they reflect, and continue to reflect, Yarra Valley’s hallmark characters.
Intense fresh fruits from the get go, building in complexity and layering earthen, autumnal spice, hints of leather and sweet pipe tobacco. The tannin profile is tight and precise, giving a great focal point for the palate, which drives along with bright acidity through the long finish where the red currant and cranberry fruits return.

A blend of 93/7% cabernet sauvignon/malbec. All Coldstream material. A bright crimson purple. Aromas of cassis together with fragrant violets and a touch of leafiness that's reflective of the cool year. A touch of cedar, too. Medium bodied, this elegant and persistent wine finishes with pliant, long-chained tannins, making this a good each-way bet between being able to enjoy this now, with food, or cellar for six to eight years.
