Bursting with the flavours of Victoria; introducing Starward Pinot Noir Cask in collaboration with Yering Station in a 1L bottle. Enjoy this limited release that celebrates the very best of Victoria. Starward’s distillers were beyond excited for an opportunity to partner with our winemakers, gaining full access to our award-winning Pinot Noir barrels. Starward’s parcels of red wine barrel matured single malt whisky were filled into a combination of our fresh and charred French oak puncheons which once held our Pinot Noir. Spending almost two years finishing in these barrels, the liquid has deeply developed notes of forest berries, black cherry, vanilla and subtle hints of oak.

Tasting Notes

Auburn
Vibrant red fruits, blackberry, cedar, and a hint of musk stick.
Delicate and velvety. Notes of black cherry and red currant from the Pinot cask influence, followed by sweet toffee, vanilla and a hint of toasted oak.
Elongated notes of clove and anise balanced by the sweetness of ripe orchard fruits and oak spice.
