Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with a garnet hue. |
|
Dark cherry, plump raspberries and strawberry coulis, with sweet baking spices. |
|
Rich and concentrated dark cherries and plums swell the juicy palate. A detailed, structured tannin frames the wine with balanced acidity carrying the plush, dark berry fruits through the lingering finish. |

There’s value to be had here. It smells and tastes of nuts, mace, sweet red berries and inflections of dried, aromatic herbs. It’s a good wine, varietal, impressively complex and well presented. It has good texture too; nearby and satiny at once. Oak flavour sticks out a bit but the quality of this wine punches above its asking price.

Deep-ish red-purple with a raspberry aroma, fresh and straightforward, with the depth and tannin structure to suggest it will give more as it evolves. Very promising, and would be good value.
