2017 Yering Station Pinot Noir
$52.00
The proud definition of our house style. These wines are produced from vineyards that are carefully managed by Yering Station’s team to ensure the reflect, and continue to reflect, Yarra Valley’s hallmark characters.
Opening with complex with bright red strawberries, savoury forest floor, fragrant spice and oak toast. Silky and ethereal with beautiful shape, flow and balance. There is great purity and elegance in the delicate, red and black berry fruits that are supported by florals and briar spice. The finish is long and memorable.

Tasting Notes
Bright cherry red. |
|
Stunning perfume of fresh raspberry, cherry and dried cranberry, acai. Rose petals and sage with subtle, sweet pipe tobacco beneath. |
|
A concentrated palate full of flavour at peak complexity. Proud, beautiful fresh fruit abounds, with lovely, delicate earthy notes beneath. The structure still has an al dente bite and flows with the acidity into a long and expansive finish. |

Hand-picked MV6 clone, open-fermented, matured in French puncheons (23% new) for 11 months. Light, clear and bright hue; a spicy fragrant cherry blossom bouquet pulls back the curtains of a finely structured and balanced red cherry/wild strawberry palate. Superfine tannins and oak provide the texture and length of a lovely Pinot.
