$24.00
$144.00
An introduction to the world of Yering Station, this wine stands as an exemplary Victorian expression. Velvety and rich with lots of dark fruits and a hint of black pepper. There is a lovely toasted oak layer that is beautifully balanced with fruit weight, delivering a lingering impression of black forest cake and a hint spice.

It’s a bit round-shouldered – the flavours are mostly mid-palate focussed – but the flavour profile is highly enjoyable and it feels satisfying. It’s a good drink. It tastes of plums, red cherries, roasted meats, toasted peppercorns and florals, and from the first sip through to the last, it just works.
