Scarlett Pinot Noir Gift Box

To celebrate 10-years of Scarlett, the pinnacle of our Pinot Noir, we have produced an extremely limited number of very special giftboxes which house a vertical of all four Scarlett vintages in existence; 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2021. Back-vintages such as the 2013 and 2015 are otherwise sold-out in our channels and extremely rare to come by. Enjoy these special wines now and in years to come with patient, careful cellaring. Our finest wine. A very special label, born out of the precision viticulture program led by Nathan Scarlett. Nathan identified the unique expression of Pinot Noir delivered by our Y07 block in the best growing years. A notably softer and more elegant expression of Pinot Noir when compared to our Reserve. Only made in the very best years.

2013
A mild growing season with the exception of a hot, dry Summer which encouraged strong varietal expression. Resplendent with plum, fig, truffle and red apple skin. Delicate yet defined tannins are exquisitely present throughout, offering such beautiful balance with the fruit and body of the wine, carrying its length seemingly on forever in an ever-expansive way.

2015
A mild growing season with consistent seasonal conditions. An awe-inspiring, distinctly savoury line of forest undergrowth, flecked with dried fruits, sweet spices and tee smoke. Fresh acidity, fine grip tannins and graphite texture foster great harmony in the structure and silky weight which drapes across the palate.

A textbook-perfect Yarra Valley growing season, with a mildly warm Summer and cool nights ensuring natural acidity and balance. A deeply complex portrait of power and restraint, brimming with spice, smoke, seductive earthen savoury notes and both fresh and dried fruit. A beautiful silky flow to the palate, with nothing out of place, that builds into a truly expansive and seemingly endless finish.
