Medium to deep red/purple colour, bright and youthful, while the bouquet has a smoky, char-oak edge to it, overlying sweet black cherry fruit. Lush, medium to full-bodied flavour and structure, with some tannin firmness and tightness, which is easily balanced by the generosity of fruit. An impressive and quite delicious pinot of a fuller style.

The nose is vibrant and bright, showing cherries and dried herbs. Very fine tannins balance the long, lively, silky palate. Delicious now, but will evolve beautifully.
