RANKED 25 of 65 2017 Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley Medium red colour with a subtle tint of purple, and a bouquet of smoky, spicy, sweetly ripe cherry, with a rich, sweet-fruit palate, which already possesses a touch of complexity and a lick of spicy oak. It’s medium-bodied, with good intensity and persistence. There’s a delicious core of sweet fruit. Keen value for money.

Hand-picked MV6 clone, open-fermented, matured in French puncheons (23% new) for 11 months. Light, clear and bright hue; a spicy fragrant cherry blossom bouquet pulls back the curtains of a finely structured and balanced red cherry/wild strawberry palate. Superfine tannins and oak provide the texture and length of a lovely pinot.
