To celebrate the NGV's The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture exhibition, Yering Station collaborated with local artist, Sarah Darby to create a limited edition wine collection, named ‘Eleonore’. Exclusive to Melbourne, The House of Dior exhibition is a sumptuous display of more than 140 garments designed by Christian Dior Couture between 1947 and 2017.
The Eleonore Cuvee is a showcase of Yarrabank's joint venture with Champagne Devaux. A perfect aperitif - vibrant and bright with grapefruit blossom and ripe apple notes.
The Eleonore collection was inspired by Eleonore De Castella, Yering Station’s most glamorous socialite hostess whose love of all things fashion and glamour influenced this limited edition wine collection. Eleonore loved to entertain in a grand manner at the original homestead, Chateau Yering which is now home to the highly acclaimed Eleonore’s Restaurant.
Yering Station commissioned Sarah Darby, a local Melbourne Fashion illustrator with years of experience in ateliers in Paris and one of Harper Bazaar’s 12 Australian Fashion Illustrators to follow.
'My illustrations are accessible, not high brow. Something that reflects my belief that fashion is for everyone' – Sarah Darby.
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to take home the beautiful 2011 Eleonore Sparling Cuvee 6 pack.
