From the Y28 block that is a key component in Yering Station's reserve chardonnay. Barrel fermented and matured in seasoned 500L French barrels. No mlf. A very bright green gold, this subtle and engaging wine has aromas of just-ripened stone fruits, orange blossom and white flowers. And while the palate is quite tightly wound, there's lovely persistence through the middle, culminating in a long, chalky and saline finish. Excellent potential here.
