The proud definition of our house style. These wines are produced from vineyards that are carefully managed by Yering Station’s team to ensure they reflect, and continue to reflect, Yarra Valley’s hallmark characters.

Lovely and juicy red and black currant fruits are framed by fine grained linear tannin and fresh, mouthwatering acidity. There are some beautiful spices in the background – tanned leather and tea smoke, cigar wrapper and seasoned cedar. The balance of fruit and structure drives through a long, satisfying finish.

Matured in French barriques (15% new) for 18 months. Deep plummy red. With its core of blackcurrant fruit, subtle cedar notes – from the well-handled oak – and crushed violets, there's a lot to like here. Medium bodied and with tannins that are silky smooth yet persistent, this should just be hitting its straps on release and will continue to improve for at least the next five to seven years.
