Tasting Notes

Light vibrant red.
A beautiful dark spectrum of aromas; concentrated black cherry fruit supported by black truffles.
A classic Yering Station Pinot Noir. Delicate tannins integrate seamlessly with fine acid to provide a silky mouthfeel, activating the entire palate finishing with a persistent balance.

Hand picked and de-stemmed, the must was cold soaked for 5 days prior to fermentation. Hand plunged twice daily, them gently pressed to French puncheons. Matured for 11 months.

Professional Reviews

Yering Station, next stop, Pinot Noir. Shows a bit of toasty spicy oak, raspberry, some mint and herb. Medium bodied, squishy red berries, light spicy oak flavour, grainy tannin, and a solid finish.
Light to medium bodied with a bright and vibrant palate. Black cherry and truffle oil on the nose with a ferruginous character. TIght palate with a coil of oak and tannin driving into the fruit. Will benefit from a few more years cellaring.
