We are delighted to announce the release of our 2010 Yering Station Reserve Shiraz Viognier. Only released in exceptional vintages, this is our first release of this wine since the great 2006 vintage. Selected parcels of Shiraz from selected rows have been co-fermented with 5% Viognier. This process has been maintained for centuries in France’s Cote Rotie and results in a softening of the tannin structure with the resulting wines exhibiting a haunting perfume and sumptuous, plush mid palate. Designed to be aged over the next 20 years this is a monumental wine that will reward cellaring.

The 2005 release of this wine was the winner at the National Wine Show of Australia – best Shiraz and best red wine of show. We believe the 2010 is a step up from that iconic wine and it will no doubt be snapped up early.
